OUR STORY
"We believe the value of bioactive ingredients and delivery technology should ultimately show up in products our brand partners can actually bring to market. That's why LEAP Biomedical expanded from ingredient R&D into OEM production."
LEAP BIOMEDICAL
Bioactive Ingredients × Bio-delivery Carriers × Skincare ODM/OEM
LEAP Biomedical focuses on developing a milk exosome delivery platform alongside bioactive ingredients such as PDRN, integrating efficacy validation, quality standardization, and skincare manufacturing lines — turning lab-stage R&D into products our brand partners can actually produce and bring to market.
Starting from milk exosomes as a natural bio-delivery carrier, we continue to deepen carrier applications and integration technology.
Focused on high-potential actives such as PDRN, establishing sourcing, processes, quality specifications, and efficacy validation.
WHY LEAP BIOMEDICAL
Exosomes are nature's own intercellular delivery vehicles. Milk exosomes offer a stable source and high biocompatibility, which is why we consider them the best natural starting point for a skincare delivery system. Commercializing this kind of biomaterial has always required clearing three hurdles: consistency of source and process, uniformity of quality specifications, and feasibility of scale-up and supply chain.
LEAP Biomedical's role is to turn each of these hurdles into an executable R&D and commercialization process — from ingredient planning and efficacy validation to standardization, formulation, and OEM production — so the platform technology can truly become a product in our brand partners' hands.
Explore the Ingredient Range →WHY WORK WITH US
We keep R&D capability and manufacturing lines within the same team, so ingredient development and commercialization no longer require coordinating across multiple parties.
Bioactive ingredients and bio-delivery carriers are developed in parallel — adoptable separately or combined.
From efficacy validation and standardization to formulation and mass production, reducing the cost of coordinating with multiple vendors.
Skincare formulation development and production-line manufacturing to support brand partners at any production scale.
Established testing methods, quality specifications, and technical documentation to reduce risk when partners onboard.
PRODUCT & INGREDIENT RANGE
Both R&D axes each establish clear quality specifications and application positioning, and can also serve as core active ingredients within skincare formulations.
Exosomes are nanoscale vesicles naturally secreted by cells, roughly 30–150 nm in diameter, enclosed by a phospholipid bilayer and carrying signaling molecules such as miRNA, proteins, and lipids. Their original biological role is intercellular communication — which is exactly why, in skincare applications, they can serve as both an active ingredient and a delivery carrier.
Milk became our source of choice because it satisfies three requirements at once: abundant, traceable supply; high biocompatibility; and an extraction process that scales relatively well. Compared with cell-culture-derived exosomes, milk exosomes have a clear advantage in cost and manufacturing feasibility — exactly what allows them to make it into skincare formulations.
Our work focuses on turning this natural material into a fully specified ingredient: from screening the milk source, through separation and purification, to establishing test methods for particle size, concentration, and purity — so brand partners receive not just a bottle of raw material, but a usable material backed by clear specifications and technical documentation.
PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a natural active composed of short DNA fragments, with a molecular weight of roughly 50–1,500 kDa. Rather than a single compound, it's a mixture of nucleotides, nucleosides, and deoxyribonucleic acid fragments — which is why it's typically positioned as a repair-focused functional ingredient in skincare formulations.
We focus on controllability at the ingredient level: from source selection, extraction, and purification to test methods for molecular weight distribution and purity, we establish a reproducible, verifiable quality standard — giving brand partners clear specifications to rely on when adopting the ingredient into a formulation.
CUSTOM FORMULATION
Brand partners can combine their own active ingredients with LEAP Biomedical's carrier technology, planning custom formulations and encapsulation methods based on product positioning — with the same team carrying the project through to OEM production.
Understand brand positioning and active ingredient characteristics; assess carrier and formulation compatibility.
Plan test items and quality specifications based on product positioning.
Once the formulation is confirmed, move directly into production at LEAP Biomedical or a partner facility.
